The campaign to clean the river yeilded copious amounts
of garbage. In the absense of other compelling evidence,
it was apparent that the pollution from the tributarys
contaminated the river. It also affected the fertilty of the
wetlands. The desparate residents sought to relocate but
no viable opportunities were readily availible to them.
"Snake" shouted Mrs. Carol, our neighbour. We
scurried to her assistance "There is a snake in my vegetable
garden, she whispered. We hurriedly searched for it.
Although the snake disappeared we encountered many
plants. Mrs. Carols garden contained a wide variety of
vegetables ochroes, tomatoes, peppers and pumpkins.
My sister, Pat, as well as my brother, Darren, agree that
surviving a pandemic has been one of the more challenging
experience of life. However, we enjoyed learning new
things across this time. Pat and I discovered digital
photography, but Darren mastered making delicious, spicy
fry chicken. Now, as siblings, we are closer than ever before.
